At Dulverton Veterinary Practice, the health, safety and wellbeing of our patients, our staff and our community is our number one priority.
We remain committed to delivering exceptional care to your pet, while doing our part to reduce the spread of respiratory illness (in particular COVID-19 coronavirus), including careful monitoring of the health and wellbeing of our staff.
Over the past few weeks, we have taken a series of precautionary steps at our practices in response to this outbreak, including increased cleaning, disinfection and access to hand sanitiser for our staff and clients.
Doing our part to keep pets, clients and our staff healthy during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak.
In addition to the steps we’re taking as a practice to protect everyone who works in and visits our practice, we kindly ask that you take the following precautions:
We are following the government’s most recent advice regarding the measures we need to take to help control the spread of COVID-19. There’s provision at all of our practices for you to wash your hands when you arrive and before you leave.
Please contact us if you’d like further advice about caring for your pet over the coming months.
In this time of uncertainty we are doing our best to keep the practice open and deliver our services with as little disruption as possible. However, we are having to take extra precautions to keep our staff and clients safe and healthy. We will always treat your pets in an emergency, or you can ask us for advice via telephone (01398323285) or mail (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are self-isolating.
Please do not visit the practice if you are showing any symptoms of a cough, cold or fever. For more up to date information check the NHS 111 website.
If you do visit us, we would be very grateful if you could use the handgel provided upon entering the building (this will be on the reception desk).
In order to minimise exposure for our clients and staff members we would appreciate it if on arrival you register at reception and then wait in your vehicle until you are called.
If you require a repeat prescription then please could you telephone the surgery on 01398323285 and we can have it ready for you in advance. These can then either be posted out to you or we can make other arrangements.
Please bear with us if supplies of medicines are running low we can assure you we will be working hard to get more in as soon as we can, however we cannot guarantee to receive our usual deliveries.
