Laser therapy

laser

This spring the practice has purchased a multiwave laser machine and we have started to perform laser therapy on a number of patients. The laser is synchronizing continuous and pulsed emissions of different wavelengths to achieve a high peak power without undesired thermal effects. In short: this therapy is risk free for your animal, but can help reducing inflammation, oedema, chronic and acute pain by stimulation of the natural self healing potencies of every body cell.

The treatment does usually not take more than 10 minutes, the owner is staying with the pet and the sessions are by appointment only, once we have worked out the best laser protocol for the condition to be treated.

If you like more information about this, please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff.

Good to know

Covid-19 latest

We have received a lot of positive feedback from our clients regarding our appointment system which has been in place since the start of the pandemic. The main advantages of this system other than keeping us all safer, are:
  • no overcrowding of the car park
  • reduced waiting times
  • less stress for the animals
We therefore decided as a practice to stick to our appointment only system and not to return to open surgeries even in a post pandemic environment. We will therefore not be holding any more vaccination clinics. We are currently still not allowing any people in the building.
